HASMART is a North East–based electrical, gas, heating and renewable energy contractor serving domestic and commercial clients.
We deliver safe, compliant and reliable electrical installations, gas and heating services, and solar and renewable energy solutions for homes, businesses and managed properties. Meet the Directors
HASmart was founded by Graeme Haswell, an experienced Design Engineer and approved Electrical Installer with nearly 20 years’ experience across domestic, industrial and commercial sectors. In early 2025, Chris Laycock joined as a Director when HASmart merged with family owned business, Laycock Electrical Contractors. This strengthened our delivery capability and supported our continued growth across the North East.
Our vision is to lead the way in smart, future-ready energy solutions by combining electrical, heating and renewable technologies to help customers reduce costs, improve efficiency and build more sustainable properties.
