WHAT IS SOLAR PV?
The solar PV System harness the suns energy and converts it to usable clean energy with two main components. The solar panel captures the energy, and the inverter converts it to usable energy. If you have excess energy you have the option to add a battery storage system. Installing a battery storage system means that you can use the energy that you have generated at a later date when your energy demand is higher or you can sell it back to your supplier though SEG payment
HOW DO I KNOW IF SOLAR PANELS ARE RIGHT FOR ME?
HASmart will come and do a site survey free of charge discussing what you would like from the system and answer any questions you may have. We will take measurements of your roof, visually check your electrical system and check for a suitable location for the inverter and battery, if requested.

We will provide you with a written quote as well as a cost benefit analysis using MCS data to see how long the payback period of the system will be.
HOW MUCH WILL THE SOLAR PV SYSTEM COST?
Each install is site specific and depends on the type, size and location of the roof, number of panels and size of battery (if requested). Click here for an example of a 4.8kW system with 5kW of battery storage at £9,999.
HOW LONG WILL THE INSTALLATION PROCESS TAKE?
If you are happy with the quote that is provided to you, you will need to sign and return the contract. Once this is received we will be able to confirm a provisional installation date with you; there is currently a 4-8 week lead time with suppliers and then installation on site will take between 3-5 days, depending on the size of the project.
WILL I START SEEING BENEFITS STRAIGHT AWAY?
Yes, even on cloudier days you will still generate some energy to use, store or send back to the grid.
CAN I ADD BATTERIES TO MY EXISTING SYSTEM ON THE FIT SCHEME?
Yes we can add an AC coupled battery system after your FIT payment meter. This allows you to benefit from the energy you generate and not affect your payments.
